The course was accomplished in 21 may 2005. It was focused on the recognition of climbing equipment used to rise and descend tress; on security rules to bear in mind when work is made over 2 meters; on the work on platforms; and the installation of rise lines to canopy. In addition, works and researches in the canopy were explained, in order to show the participants some practical and easy to employ when the canopy is sampled.
Rise for a simple cord.
The participants rose with the technique simple cord and two jummars (right and left). They crossed a suspension ladder, to reach the second platform at 23 meters from the ground. Finally after the introduction to canopy work and sample methods, they descended. The participants were always held with other cord to give them security.
They also practiced individual and assisted rises and descents; as the installation of cords to reach and rise to the canopy.
