Justification:
Included in the objectives of the project "Conservation of the Endangered Hummingbirds of Colombia - The Sapphire-bellied Hummingbird Lepidopyga lilliae, an uncertain taxon", Sentido Natural invite students and enthusiasts of nature whom desire to work in activities of field work of this study.

Términos de apoyo:

The volunteers will have access to natural habitats, forest and mangrove ubicated in the caribean coast of Colombia, in the departments of La Guajira, Magdalena and Bolívar in Colombia. The elected one will help in the transport of equipment, writing down and entering of data, instalation of equipments, mist-nets, and capture of any bird different to hummingbirds. In addition the volunteer will receive training in banding, watchig, recording, taking morphological data of birds and handling GPS.

The volunteer have to finance fooda and transport and longing different to National Parks. Sentido Natural will cover lodging in National Parks if it is necessary. It is much better if the volunteer talks spanish but if not it is not problem.

Requirements:

• Intention Letter.
• Full time at least one week much better one month. Good physical condition and tolerance to hot weather and patience to mosquitos.
• CV (It is much better if the volunteer have experience handling of mist nets and capture of birds).
• Message of recommendation (from the institutional e-mail of whom is recommending).
• Health insurance and vaccinate against Yellow Fever, Rubella and Tetanus at least 10 days before field work.
